I know this question has been asked, did a search and could not find it. I have a 2007 2500 6.7 diesel and just replaced the EGR valve. About a month later the engine light comes back on. Any ideas I read a some threads saying the o2 sensors get soot on them which causes that light to come on all the time. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thx Don

You can find them on eBay. At a minimum you need a DPF delete pipe and a race tuner. You can find a used Smarty or RaceME for around $600. A delete pipe can be ordered for around $100 or so. You can contact a local exhaust shop and them might make you one for less.

It would have been better to do this before you replaced the EGR. A race tuner will allow you to remove the EGR as well.

Hopefully cleaning the lines and sensors will do the trick. If not and you have a fouled DPF... Deletes will be the cheaper option as long as you live in an area where diesels are not emissions tested.

Question does anyone have the part number for that sensor and the general cost?
