For easy removal use this End Cap Filter Wrench: LISLE 54780 END CAP FILTER WRENCH-Dodge Cummins Diesel Truck Accessories – Geno’s Garage **Your vehicle is equipped with an engine oil change indicator system. This system will alert you when it is time to change your engine oil by displaying the words “Oil Change Due” on your Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC). The engine oil change indicator system is duty cycle based, which means the engine oil change interval may fluctuate depending on your per- sonal driving style. Driving styles such as frequent stop and go type driving or extended idle time can increase the frequency of the engine oil change. Unless reset, this message will continue to display each time you turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position. To turn off the message temporarily, press and release the Trip Odometer button on the instrument cluster. To reset the oil change indicator system: (after performing the scheduled maintenance) 1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position (do not start the engine). 2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly three times within 10 seconds. 3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position. NOTE: If the indicator message illuminates when you start the vehicle, the oil change indicator system did not reset. If necessary, repeat this procedure.

* Any brand product that meets or exceeds the factory OEM products “should” be ok to run however I would like to point out that Cummins developed Cummins Filtration in 1958 to meet the high performance requirements of Cummins diesel engines and manufactures Fleetguard filters. Cummins also endorses and recommends Valvoline Oil. This by no means discounts other brand products or quality but many will argue these Cummins endorsed/manufactured products are the best for a Cummins engine.
With that being said here are some products/feedback/prices and places to buy them from. Feel free to post your favorites or comments on products for the 6.7L
