Thanks Greg I am curious will the fog lights provide some extra light to add the driving lights, and will the aux lights be too bright for highway driving?
The fog lights will provide a thin wide light pattern that works great in, you guessed it, FOG! They'll provide some foreground light in addition to the factory headlights. They will also add a decent amount of width (Not super bright, but there) which helps when turning.
The Hella 550's (Rectangular) like posted above I
THINK can be legally used as auxiliary driving lights, They'll help with the crap headlights these trucks come with a lot. Some states have different laws about the # of forward facing lights. But I can't say I've heard of anything under 4.
They only have 55W bulbs in them, but they have an excellent beam pattern.
I still consider running 2 fog and 2 driving in my bumper opening instead of a LED bar (which is totally illegal to run on the highway) and WAY cheaper!
