Gang, I just got a 2013 2500 CTD with 6 speed manual from my 2012 2500 HEMI after only 10 months. I didn't need it but do like the stick, sound, power and better gas milage. Am new to the Diesel world so will be asking a lot of questions here. The nice part its the same color as my last one am pretty excited. Here is a pic:

I would have liked to gone with a manual also, then I remebered the last stick I owned, and how much the clutch was to replace when the women in my life smoked it. :flipthebird:

Well so far I added a Weston HBX brush guard, MOPAR black running boards, and Aero skin by AVS. Next will be fog lamps, tonneau cover, then gooseneck hitch. The wife said bigger tires and lift would be good to do when time comes to replace this love that woman.

Aero skin fits right in

The HEMI was nice but the Cummins is all around better IMO, from gas to power I like it more, in a 1500 the HEMI would be a beast I think. I really love a manual to be trueful.
Thanks Greg, I see you are well in tuned to here looking for fog lamps with my set up, have any ideals that I may look into? Thanks Joe.

I see a lot of guys mounting led light bars between the tow hooks but not sure if that will work with your new brush guard. Does the new guard have any mounting points predrilled?

The brush guard sticks out too far to use the space between the tow hooks and the guard uses those hooks also. No per drilled hole and was thinking of adding. Lamps to the very bottom bar and add some square LEDs or kc style fog lamps.

If you're wanting a quality fog light, look into the PIAA LED fog lights.
You won't be let down.

If you're wanting to add more of an auxiliary driving light, I'd look at the Hella lights that are around 3x7 (guessing) they have a great beam pattern, and look good on on the body Ram front end.

I'm fairly tempted to run at least a pair of the above in the bumper opening on my Hemi. It's a totally useless opening, blocked from the radiator entirely.
Just creates turbulent air flow. LAAAME!

Thanks Greg I am curious will the fog lights provide some extra light to add the driving lights, and will the aux lights be too bright for highway driving?

The fog lights will provide a thin wide light pattern that works great in, you guessed it, FOG! They'll provide some foreground light in addition to the factory headlights. They will also add a decent amount of width (Not super bright, but there) which helps when turning.

The Hella 550's (Rectangular) like posted above I THINK can be legally used as auxiliary driving lights, They'll help with the crap headlights these trucks come with a lot. Some states have different laws about the # of forward facing lights. But I can't say I've heard of anything under 4.

They only have 55W bulbs in them, but they have an excellent beam pattern.
I still consider running 2 fog and 2 driving in my bumper opening instead of a LED bar (which is totally illegal to run on the highway) and WAY cheaper!
