Hey guys I am thinking about trading for a 2012 2500 ST 4x4 and was wondering if they have any common problems besides the regen emissions stuff? I can get this one for 32k it only has 25 k miles so I think it's a pretty good deal ?

I traded a 2004 1500 slt 4x4 for a 2012 2500 st 4x4 a year ago cuz I have a fifth wheel that I pull once in a while. I love mine and have no regrets. My 2500 gets almost the same mileage that my 1500 did, I think that is due to the 6 speed tranny that the 12 has. I get 13-14 around town and about 16 highway. Mine is all stock st 5.7 hemi 6 speed auto 4x4. It does ride a little stiffer but I got used to it. Upside is it pulls my fifth wheel great compared to the older 1500.

That's a great looking truck. If you need a diesel, I'd say go for it.

I think you should jump on that truck!! Looks very nice and I think the price is more than fair. I think you will be happy with a nice diesel.

Yea I defiantly could use a diesel as I haul around my enclosed trailer with my tools in it most the time. I didn't know if anyone has still been having trouble with the 6.7s like they used to when I worked at the dodge place a few years ago. I'm probably going to end up getting it and just let my dad buy my truck.

my new 2500ctd gets way better mileage than my 3rd gen 1500..I'd say go for it, but diesels are a whole new beast, there's a lot to learn about em

Get it and if the mileage isn't great get you the heaviest trailer you can. (Don't exceed the 17k tow max) I used a 15k job skid, hooked it up Friday and didn't take it off until Sunday.
I can avg 18-18.7 evic MPG at 85mph (cruise set) hand calc I'm getting 17.2~ at the same speed. If I slow it down to 70-75 I can obtain 21-22 easily.

I love the diesel! I say go for it!!

I have a 2013 ram 2500 CTD ST 4x4 crew cab with the 265/70r17 AT.
