Its an SRT-10. Fuel mileage should not be a concern in a truck like that lol. If its a DD you should probably look at something not so extravagant aha. My 2 cents. But to answer your question I couldnt see it being better than your mega cab.

Is the truck a regular cab or quad cab? The automatic transmissions in the quad cabs usually don't last that long if the truck has been driven hard and will eventually need rebuilt with better parts. The regular cab is rated at 9 city 15 highway and the quad cab is rated at 9 city 12 highway.

You'd likely get a bit worse, like 6-8 MPG if you're getting 10 in that mega.
Sounds like you're not afraid of the loud pedal.

An 8.3 V10 will gladly play along, but it's going to drink a LOT of fuel doing it!
As a toy, I think it'd be badass.

YouTube some sound clips, being 100% honest, the snarl of the V10 is NOT for everyone.
