Monday I picked up a Power Wagon. I traded my 14 3500 off since I sold my 5th wheel camper.

This truck is silver with a sunroof and rambox bed. So far it's been a great truck, although I will miss the more consistent fuel mileage of the Cummins, but the emissions controls are really killing the diesel market.

I'll have to post pics late.

Good luck with the new truck. How do you like the 6.4?

I think I will miss the torque of the 6.7, but as much as I really tow it was a waste for me to have it. That and the emissions equipment sucked!!!

The 6.4 is an odd motor, seems gutless, but in tow/haul mode its got a lot better get up and go. The difference is drastic, but I understand they are trying to get as good a mileage out of it as they can and still give owners that seat of the pants experience.

Time will tell, but 700 miles and I'm not disappointed with my decision.

the 6.4 needs a few thousand miles before it breaks in and starts to come alive. its not going to have that torque of the diesel but it has a lot of get up and go.

It will take some time to get used to it. I went from a fully deleted 6.7L to the 6.4L and it took a few months to get used to it. Driving through town and until I get up to 45mph I'll keep it in tow/haul then used the gear selector to set it to 6th to disabled mds and its fine after that

Seems gutless? What rear end do have in it? My buddies with 5.7s hate me cause im always edging them out and then running away from the green light. Granted i hate when the MDS kicks in but thats only because the flowmaster exhaust sounds like its farting.

Current PWs do have 4.10s. They should have 4.56s.

As others have said, it will get better in a few thousand miles.
