I don't tow, truck has little more than 5k, no modification on it either.
Did anybody have problem with "Check Electronic Brake System" Warning sign?
I was going on a highway and warning sign suddenly shows up truck idles at little over 1k, accelerator don't work, brake barely works. Had to pull over to side and shut off and when I restarted it, it was fine again. Happened twice more went to a dealer and they don't seem to find any problem but did update some software they said. But its only been two weeks and its happening again. Don't want to go to dealer because not only they didn't fix the brake issue, when asked them to fix driver side mirror for defroster issue they replaced a passenger side? BTW now both don't work properly!! I am little nervous to drive on a highway with this brake failing.. Any suggestions?
