Excited to get my first Dodge Ram vehicle. I picked the best that they had to offer and really stretched my budget. I test drove 2 different Power Wagons with the 5.7 liter (2011 and 2013) but preferred the 6.4L .
I got a pretty good price on the 2015 and they had to transfer it from one dealership to another so when I got it it had 126 miles on it.
75 miles into my ownership driving nice and easy the Check Engine light comes on one morning! I took it to the dealership and they find code P0868 Low Line Pressure. The service manager acted real aloof and would not say anything. I asked if it was fuel pressure and he said he did not know and would call me tomorrow and puts me in a rental car.
Google reveals that it has to do with the transmission and it could be a bad sensor, bad wiring to the sensor, poor filter install, or next is yank the tranny and get to digging. I am not a happy camper.
Here is to hoping that it is just a defective sensor. Not a good start out of the gate Ram!!! :puke:

Here are some pictures before the check engine light came on. None of the photos are that great as I was just snapping them with my phone.
I had plans on going out to my buddy's farm/hunting property this weekend and doing some work but it looks like that may not happen...

They are a sharp looking truck.

I am sure your issue will be quickly resolved.

I know it sucks when it happens to you, but that is what the warranty is for.

Hopefully it will be a quick and easy fix and you can be a happy camper once again.

So after 24 hours I got my truck back. It took a call to Dodge Engineering and the service tech tried several things and couldn't figure it out. Eventually they decided to just replace the sensor. It has been ok so far so hopefully that was the correct fix.
I drove the Power Wagon down to my friend's property outside of Macon, GA so we could work some. The timber company is coming soon to cut so we had to move treestands, box blinds, etc. He has a 4wd John Deere 5303 and was mowing some high grass. He ended up burying the tractor in the mud on accident. The Power Wagon's Warn winch was put to the test and did really well. It recovered the tractor fairly easily I would say. I was impressed as was he. It saved us from having to find another tractor to pull him out. Sorry no pictures or video. It was hot as crap out and it was just us two and he was spinning the ag tires on the tractor while I manned the winch control.
Just 450 miles on the truck and winch already popped its cherry!

Good news. No problems at all since the dealership replaced the sensor. Its still running strong. I have not had an opportunity to use the winch again since I pulled my friend's tractor out. I have had it on a trail in middle GA but nothing difficult at all.

My wife said that I had to take them all off when I bought it and I was planning on it. Later they kinda grew on me and I was ok to leave them on. They are pretty loud and obnoxious but I like that they set it apart from all the other Rams on the road.
I was at the gym the other day and a goofball with a one ton dually diesel had Power Wagon in the chrome letters across his tailgate. :homoswitch:

I have the same exact truck just a 2016! Love it except it has been nothing but problems, it only has 6000 miles and has been to the dealer twice bec it keeps going into limp mode. Dealer says it's an electrical problem and I'm stuck without a loaner car... not a happy camper.
