Custom is usually just a fancy model for older trucks. Most likely because of all the things on it.

It is a cool truck. Hope you can get it going soon.

Wow. Great find. Welcome to the site.

It looks pretty complete and not totally beat or rusted out.

Heck, you can get a replacement tank, or a trick in bed fuel cell for that price.

Get the basics going first. Get it running and address issues with the major components ; Drivetrain, Brakes, tires / wheels. Avoid the temptation to mod away on "fun" stuff before the "work" stuff has been addressed.

It is easy to be sucked in and distracted with mods and fun things, that eventually just turn it into a "money pit" if the basic foundation and running gear are not sound and worth the effort.

Enjoy the experience and share with us your progress. We love updates with good details and lots of pics.

And most importantly, have fun!

Thanks
yea other than a missing bed floor she is all there :hahano:
if that tank and lines were not gummed up she would fire right up
frame is solid decent amount of rot above winshield, bottom of doors(normal for dodge lol) under pedals front of hood all in all its gonna be a fun project
all ready tearing her down inside out, stock vs mickey thompson rims with bfgoodrich rugged trails as seen in pic (frame is not bent, wood bed is gone and so are the brackets)

Get at it man! :Caffeine:

I glanced at the pic and was thinking what a crazy set of off road lights, then realized it still had the snow plow attachment rig on there.

This will be fun to watch develop. You are giving me bad urges to go out and actually try and do something with this '50s Power Wagon I got out front. I swore I would leave it as "Lawn Art" and just a buddy for my new Power Wagon to sit next to, but watching you dig this thing out and make progress is giving me ideas. That is bad. But, it calls to me every time I walk by it.

So, work knowing we are rooting for you and wishing I had the time, room and money to do my own !

You've still got most of the trim, that in and of itself makes it awesome.

You've got a really good base with this truck if the frame checks out.

Good luck!!! :D
