Been looking to upgrade from a 1500 for a while.
Found a 06 on a dealer lot and went ahead and bought it.
Only issue is that the winch and mount are gone.(sucks) but other than that truck is great. I wanted a 2500 to pull a pull behind toy hauler.
So here is the dumb question. With the winch mount being gone does that have any impact on the structural integrity of the frame?

Here is a pic of the truck

Congrats!

The winch being gone will not effect structural integrity at all.

Nice looking 06, I agree with the above post. what are you putting in the toy hauler?

If we go the toy hauler route we would be putting my 2015 Harley Roadglide in there.

Skip the toy hauler and ride the bike. Nice truck. Someone must have took the winch and put it on a 2500 or 3500

I ride plenty. It will just be a good option to have if I want to bring the bike on vacations etc...
It sucks about the winch but in reality I don't have a big use for it anyway.
