I keep opening the rear window to hear it

it sounds great when you put the hammer down!

I have yet to pull my trailer to hear how it does with a load, no codes

I had a local shop install a Magnaflow 12909 on mine and remove the resonator. Here's a link to the thread:

What about just straight piping the muffler and leave it at that? The resonator is straight through and that would minimize the cost.

Just ordered the Flowmaster 50 HD muffler. Plan on removing the resonator. Best sounding muffler for these trucks in my opinion.

sorry for the late response but the kit fit fine, the only thing i had to buy was about a 12'' piece of stainless pipe to use as extensions so i could make the tailpipes line up coming out the back. i really have no idea why they say the kit will not fit the wagon, i even asked a rep from flowmaster and they said if it doesnt fit they will send me whatever i needed to make it work.
