Most all lifts are pretty much the same, but what is different is going to be the shocks. The better shocks you have the better your ride will be.

Keep in mind that the power wagons have a little different setup than a typical 2500. Although most lifts will work they may take a little extra time to get to fit right.

That's why you buy a PW specific kit that is made for the PW. It will come with everything needed. The one we spoke about is for the PW

If you want the BEST ride/performance available, then you are going to want some progressive rear leafs out back, soft coils up front, and matching shocks as well. Getting all of these items is not cheap though, so it is one of those "you get what you pay for" items. How tall are you looking to go?

I dont know of many guys running this kit on the 4th gens, but BDS makes a great long arm kit for the 3rd gens. I wouldnt lift a Powerwagon with a short arm kit because it will limit your suspension. PW's are made for mean articulation, so you dont want to give that up with the lift. Only thing I would do different with this kit is replace the rear blocks with progressive leafs. The shocks included with the kit are more than likely good enough to keep you happy, but you can go with a nice set of resi shocks down the road if you want to get the most out of the truck as far as ride quality and offroad performance.

That kit looks good from BDS but to get the trac bar and steering stabilizer your looking at almost 3 grand for only a 4". Insane but like you said you get what you pay for. I have decided to go with the Tuff Country 4.5", with four sx8000 shocks, performance trac bars, dual steering stabilizer. Good? Fitted with 35" open country MTs on 20x10 rbp 94r rims.

Got a question for yall power wagon owners out there. I got a 2011 wagon. And need tires finally. I already bought rims, 20x10s 5" BS -12mm offset and was wondering whats the max size tire I can fit on stock suspension. I am doing a lift within the next few months but not yet. For now, its tires. Can I fit 35x12.50x20 nitto trails, or 33x12.50x20? I want no issues with rubbing. Thanks in advance guys.

no doubt you could fit the 33's but they would look small once you lift it. Others will chime in of if you can fit the 35's

i knew the 33s, I just want to know if i could go 35s so when i get the lift i dont have to sell the 33s and buy 35s or 37s ya know. Would just like to know. I know it can fit 34s with no problem on stock suspension. But 35s I am unsure

Most 35's dont run true to size most are 34's ... your fine
If they rub at full lock .. add a level kit .. easy .

Since your powerwagon sits a little bit higher in the from from the factory you should be ok with 35s on aftermarket wheels but it probably wouldn't hurt to be ready to put a level own since it might not be quite high enough to clear the lower fender near the bottom of the doors

I use it on the farm a lot. Winch has come in handy quite a few times if that answers your question. But I also do a lot of driving, over 40k in less than 16 months

2" level with 20x10s

Hey ya'll. Getting a 2" level to run bigger tires as I am in need of new meat. I cannot decide between the 290/60/20 Trails or 35x12.50x20. I want no rubbing issues whatsoever as I do not want to cut away any of the well. Anybody know for a fact that the 35s will not rub with a level. I just want to be certain as I would prefer the 35s not the 34.45s. Thanks in advance

I know I know. Im just paranoid. I dont really want to drop the coin on nice tires if they are gonna rub. I will just bite the bullet and c how it goes for myself. Once I get the rims I will post some pics. Thanks Dave
