Welp, the P95 is a no-go. The guy we ordered it for came in today and picked it up finally so I guess it wasn't meant to be. Now I'm thinking about the gen4 Glock 19

If you are getting it for concealed carry or if you may ever have to use it in a self defense situation, I would strongly recommend NOT getting a 9mm. 40 S&W or 45 are much better IMHO

Russ, personally I agree with you. Eventhough the 9mm has come a long way with self defense rounds I'd still rather have the 40 or 45.

:birgits_tiredcoffee Hehehehehheheh

I always hear that about the 9mm...and I always ask if anyone will stand about 5 yards out so I can double tap 'em in the chest with my 9. I mean its not gonna hurt or keep 'em from walking away. Right?

Never yet had a volunteer.

I mean..I might miss...:birgits_tiredcoffee

I speak from personal experience, 9mm is NOT a good self defense round. Better than nothing, but far from the best.

Oh no, I'm looking for the 9mm as a "fun" gun. Something I can take to the range and put some rounds downfield relatively cheaply.

I've got my Taurus .45 that I keep with me for self defense

Looks like fun Ken lol.

Once work and school calms down, I want to load up all of mine and make a day out of if at the range with the wife. I'm going to pick up a 1911, start my AR build and pick up something for the wife to carry
