Sorry for the delay. It's been a work in progress.

Parts
VW 1J0973737 14 pin connector $20 x2
VW N10335807 1.5mm female pins small $0.98 x8
VW N90684405 2.8mm female pins large $1.50 x6
I got extra of the pins though. Just in case.
Mopar 68193062AA WIRING, JUMPER $14 x4
Soldering gun
Wire strippers
Led load equalizer for the turns to not hyper flash

Take two of the jumper cables and solder on small terminal pins

These are the led turn park and ground.

I couldn't find a terminal pin plier but was able to use that notch in mine regular wire strippers to bend one side at a time over then solder them as well. Be really careful when soldering the connection. There isn't much clearance in the connector and if you over solder them they have trouble fitting in.

******** This next step will probably have to be adjusted based on trial and error. The projector needs to be triggered off the high beam (hums on later fourth gens. You may have to manually trigger it and switch it directly to the battery)

The white and blue wire and the black wire will get the large connector. If you have an early fourth gen you can split off the white and green wire. One will go to the high beam (large pin) and one will go to the projector trigger (small pin). If yours hum with the vehicle running then just make an extra small pin wire to run to the projector and don't split off the green wire. You'll have to manually trigger the projector another way.

Part 1

This is what the connector will look like with the pins.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362853781.368783.jpg
Counting from top left to top right
1,2,3,4,5,6,7
1 projector, 2 blank, 3 low beam, 4 high beam, 5 ground, 6 blank, 7 ground for LEDs
Bottom left to bottom right
8,9,10,11,12,13,14
8 is park?, 9 DRL (blank), 10 blank, 11 blank, 12 blank, 13 turn?, 14 blank (fault sensor). Sorry for the ? I'm pretty sure they're right.

Take the connector with all small pins and wire the white and blue to 7. The white and green will go to 13. The black will go to 8.

The large connector will wire white and green to 4 (or the large pin off the split if you split them). The black will go to 5 and the white and blue will go to 3. The small pin on the split it the extra small pin if you didn't split it goes to 1.

Led load balancer on the outside wires of the black plug.

The jumper with the small pins goes to the black plug and the other jumper goes to the green plug.

******** the plug has to be clicked over a little with a screw driver for the plug to fit the headlight housing.

It should be closer on the top of the pic.
Good luck.

I also used liquid electrical tape to seal the solder joint outside the housing and to seal the back of the plug.

Here's a diagram I found to do a switch if you have the hum.

30 will go to the battery with a fuse
86 will go to the high beam wire
87 will go to the projector wire #1 position. Small pin
85 is a ground.

Relay did the trick to stop the humming. The parts I used are below. I used the diagram above and everything worked well. You can follow the instructions above for the wiring. Then if you have a hum cut the wire going to the projector and use those two ends to go to the relay.

87 goes to the wire from the light
86 goes to the other end you cut leading back to the high beam wire
30 goes to the battery wire a fuse in between
85 goes to a ground

If you do his mod add the hole in the middle so you can adjust re lights vertically. If not you won't be able to reach the screw and you will have to remove the grille and lights to adjust it. The projector lights use different sizes as well.

T15 or 7mm

Seems significantly better light output. I assume halogen bulbs?

Stock low. They are a weird bulb that you'd have to get from JJ and put a hole in the back of the housing to swap. The highs are Silverstar ultra. The last pic is misleading. I tried to take it off. It is highs and my off road lights. Dually D2s. All that on at night is blinding.

Even though I have a 2013 would I still have to do the harness swap if I wanted the factory projectors? Sorry for the newbie question...

From what I have seen on the standard quad headlights from 2013, they have the same connectors as the prior years - so a harness would be needed for this.

Can you use one relay for both headlights or do you need a relay for each headlight?

I know this is an old thread so I hope I can get someone to answer.
I noticed the original poster put a 30a inline fuse from the battery to the relay but wouldn't it also be a good idea to put a fuse going to the cut off shields? I'm not sure how many amps they put but a smaller fuse might be a good idea or is it overkill? Any advice?

Question I was looking at a premade harness. They do not use a relay but have dual resistors. Any idea what size they are? 50w 8ohm? 2015 truck.

The current adapters we are sending out have 40w7.5ohm resistors on them.

I have the projector hum aswell in a 2011 Canada Ram. I have VLAND projector aftermarket headlights. With the help of alpha OBD, I lowered the high beam voltage from 13 to 12.6; this helped a little but did not solve the problem. There is no hum when the engine is off. When I rev the engine, the hum gets louder leading me to believe it's getting too much voltage. I also have an aftermarket alternator 320amp. What voltage do the 13+ trucks run for Hi-beam
