Yeah it comes just like this one looks except no shifter obviously and the back little bin before the armrest is narrower....and the vin itself is bigger so it won't fit in where the shifter goes.... I think that's why they send it with a new surrounding bezel

Yeah. That's the pre-15 style top. You can pop a bin in that one in place of the shifter like in the photo, but I think the 15+ style you put in is the way to go if you don't want a shifter.

I've ordered all the parts from Benny, they should be arriving this coming week. Does anyone have any details on how all the parts go together? Anyone else bought a new setup from Benny? Did it come with all the necessary hardware?

Any help is appreciated.

Anyone know if center console for 2009 thru 2013 would fit a 2017. They look the same but that's only from a picture.

Ok seriously looking into doing this mod. A couple of questions. I have a 2017 express with the jump seat. If I get one with the shifter can the shifter be used in place of the dial. Is there a blanking plate for the dial? Any type of programming changes needed? Any drawbacks other than loss of space. Any additional major work. I have be scouring the sites for the console anyone on the forum have a black center still for sale?

The floor shifter will not work with the 8spd trans. That transmission does not use a mechanical linkage, so it requires the rotary e-shifter.

CONSOLE BASE FRONT BRACKET - MOPAR (55365120AB)
CONSOLE BASE REAR BRACKET - MOPAR (55365121AD)
REAR DUCT - MOPAR (55056931AB) <- Installs onto front bracket to adapt on a crew cab.
The screws for the sides of the console are M6 bolts.
I pulled the nut plates out of the two that held the drawer in. They pop out to the front, I used a pick tool to pull them and then snap back into the console holes.

Also a couple of nut plates for the front bracket with screws or you can do what I ended up doing and use a couple bolts and nuts like the OP did and I did. Trying to find the M8 Nut plate that snaps in so I can install the two M8 bolts that came out.

I found the bezel online at car-part.com . You have to search for one that had the center console which are normally the Laramie's or Big horn. I paid $60 plus shipping and they also gave me the inverter face plate so I can do that soon. I have the inverter under my seat. If you are going to buy a bezel see what all they can throw in, it'll save swapping everything out which isn't too bad. If you get the wood grain one then you will have to either deal with it or cover it some way. I used the wrap to cover it with a carbon fiber look.

Finally got almost everything in except the bezel. That was the hardest to find, had to source it via car-parts for a better price than most on eBay. Thanks for the help, will post pics once the bezel is in.

Almost received all items for center console swap. Question. I have a 2017 express without rear air. The console I have come with duct and rear vents. What transition piece would I need. Attached are the pictures of the bracket and duct pass through and dash frame. How do I connect to heater / AC behind frame and what bolts attach from bracket to center dash frame. 4ce6bd70ebb2993a38998c5e5a9aa4a8.jpg753341e63761c95bc4af9ed179b4e328.jpg0848797e9592b228bb3bffe204f7aa62.jpg70c2ad12110b1b768a45792e34f9cc3b.jpg

Also my truck does not have the inverter. But has a wiring and plug stored behind dash. Im assuming I would need a boatload of items to make it work. Like a transformer or inverter?

The inverter is under the passenger seat if the truck was equipped. You have to run extra wiring to hook it all up.

I used 3/8 bolts with washers originally. I switched it out with M8 bolt and nut. I had the M8 bolts from the original take out I did and the nut plate was from Amazon. Worked good.

In one of your pictures you have a gold nut plate that you can just pop out and that goes just above there on the angled hole. a52652d7f2e6d02de2e186809ad0e39e.jpg

Well this weekend I finally had enough nerve to cut into the lower air box and install the rear air and center console. Thanks Benny and all the rest who gave me the information. 3eb9eb210d308c42bec1a90a564c5db4.jpg916442dc91bc8b29aa112a5bc93e72c1.jpg8912e6c0b6ab5b92f9674962d29389fb.jpg891dd0232bee1db762c4825534033e89.jpg
