On my express I had two transition pieces. One was a short connector that went from the console to the one that came off the dash. My express had a punch out and a long curved piece fit joined the duct behind the radio bezel. (#4) was the hard piece for me. I don’t have the part number but Benny with all mopar part here on forum can help. 55056931AB (#7) is another part

Are you talking about the bolts that hold the console to the brackets that mount to the floor.

I did not have the inverter but looked like I had the wiring stored behind the dash. My jumpseat had the USB and aux plug so I pulled out the 12 volt and used the cubby with the flat cover I had on the right side and cut a hole with a dremel tool to mount. Took to USB out of the original lower front panel and put in the new cup holder and relocated the power under the shifter knob with some more cutting. Now I have rear power, armrest power, and dash power as well as 2 USB's and aux input and fully functioning rear air. A lot of extra parts.

I searched the thread but only saw one reference to quad cab - do I have to get a quad/regular cab specific console, or would a crew cab console work in a quad cab? I realize the ductwork wouldn't exist, but as far as physically mounting, would it work?

It should. I have a console with vents in my regular cab.

They seem to be the same. When I was looking for a console, the only difference between a crew cab & a quad cab was the HVAC ducting. If you have a quad cab and get a crew cab console, the duct is very easy to remove if you want to.

thanks guys, I am tempted to do this. My buddy has the console in his, going to drive his and decide. I had it in my previous truck (F150), and had the shifter in the console as well, I would probably like that setup in my Ram also :).
