For those looking for a way to connect the factory foglight jumper harness without splicing ...

DIY: Add 2013-2017 OEM Foglight Wiring

We now have a "Foglight Extension harness" that I have sent out to Deereguy to be tested in his 2016 2500 truck to help finalize a write up/install instructions. Next will be to build one for my 2013 1500.

This will allow you to buy the official Mopar Foglight "Jumper" harness that goes into the bumper and plug in the "Extension" harness that will install in the factory connector under the PDC. As close to the factory wiring as you can get.

I installed it - pretty simple - hardest part was me reading the instructions properly on removing the faceplate on the connector in order to ensure the connection slides all the way (position assurance connector or some fancy name). They built it and shipped out within 3-4 days of my order - works like a champ. It was annoying that I needed the dealer to program a code to make it work, but everything now looks & acts like stock. I love it.

Backstory - hit a deer & so was a chance to swap out bumpers. Front bumper around $350, lights another $60-70, brackets (~$40) this cable, updated OEM light switch (~$50), programming at dealer ($75) and a few bolts from lowes (the lights didn't come with the bolts) - all in, about $550 for upgraded bumper with lights - took a few hours on a saturday. Very happy with end result. When it was all flashed & wired up, I couldn't get the lights to work, so I emailed M2Mods and they called me within a few hours & explained my mistake with the position assurance connector. I was glad I didn't have to take bumper off, but the whole process was one of my simpler projects. Now getting the rear fuel filter off the rail - now that was a project!

Guys,

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm adding fog lights to my 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman. How do the fog light brackets attach to the bumper brackets? I don't have any bolts, retainer clips, etc.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread but you can program fogs with alfaobd
