I had them look up the avenger to find the one I have. Still seem to be having trouble though.

Handing the tectonically slow parts tech at my local dealership the following on paper, copied from page 1 got me the right parts.
(1) Filter box 'lid'. Dodge part number 68052292AA (About $11)
(1) Cabin Air Filter. Dodge part number 5058693AA, OR, Purolater C25869 ($7), Hastings HAAF1328, or Wix 24578

(These parts are all "OEM" for a 2010 Dodge Avenger, Caliber, Compass, etc. They will not be found by searching in any parts book under 'Dodge Ram'!)

I did have to reassure him several times that I understood what I was doing was NOT meant to fit my vehicle and I knew I couldn't return the parts.

Funny! I ordered from the SAME place! Mine was 2 bucks more though. I must live further from the warehouse. lol

There's two threads about the same subject. Can admin merge them and make it sticky?

Cutting the plastic was a little bit of a pain but, great mod. My allergies don't seem to be as bad.

It's pollen season in the mid-atlantic region and the inside of my truck is full of dust within hours after a wipe-down--it is time to undertake this mod. :Pshyco:

It works great! I also sprayed my filter with cologne so that my truck would smell better. It is really an easy mod. I was worried about cutting into my truck but once I did this I'm glad I did because I have another 4th gen and the ac is messed up now because its at the beach a lot and I wish I would have done it to that before as well

Even my UBER-protective of the truck wife, was OK with this mod.
In-cabin filter and catch can; tie for mod every 4th gen owner should have.

I just called this company and they told me this would not fit my 2013 '10-'12 Dodge Ram Cabin Air Filter Kit-Geno's Garage

Anyone know where I can get the filter and door for my 2013?
I haven't seen where any 2013s have done this mod yet, so I don't know whether anything has changed between the 2013 and all the previous Gen 4 Rams. If so, Chewy ^^ is gonna be pissed, because he's bought the parts and doesn't have his Ram yet. :025:

Per the orignial post (bumped about 40 times now) the parts are not for any Gen 4 Ram. They aren't indexed that way and you can't order them that way.
They are for a 2010 Dodge Avenger. If your 2013 air system is the same as the 09 -12 Rams, you can cut out the marked partition behind your lower glove box and install this mod yourself.

Asking someone for the parts for a 2013 Ram 1500 cabin air fliter will get you a cross-eyed salute everytime. :nono: :sad72:  :wtf: :Nonono: :bleh: :death:

I just did my 2013,it's identical to the earlier Gen 4's.

I ordered the cover for a 2010 Journey/Calibre,and it popped right on.

According to Hornet , it works good lasts a long time.

He used 2010 Journey/Caliber parts for his 2013--bet that's the same part as the 2010 Avenger.

So would the parts in the link I posted work then?

Whoever posted the Chrysler part numbers are the ones i used,it showed up at the local dealer as a 2010 Journey cover, but the bag lists a whole bunch of applications,so i think it's pretty well a universal cover.
You're heater box should look identical to the ones shown in the posts earlier.
Just follow the earlier reconmendations .
Just a heads up though, use a very sharp blade.
I drilled small holes in the 4 corners then cut between the holes, the holes make for a cleaner corner cut

Have you '13 guys looked behind your glove compartment to see if the panel looks the same as the 09-12s? If so I would not worry one bit.
