Could this problem be from the fact that it's a 2015 radio? I'm starting to think the guy who installed my aftermarket radio and such must have messed something up.
did you have sirius xm before this? the sirius XM antenna is what is used for GPS positioning and sirius signal. Its a mustard colored connector that plugs into the corresponding one on the radio.

Yes I did. I have everything hooked up and it functions except it will not acquire a XM signal and it will not locate GPS. It's like the antenna isn't reaching out or something. Does anyone know the routing for the factory XM antenna? I may pull the radio back out and plug my old RA1 back in and see if it will pick up satellite signal with it just to make sure it's not the radio that is messed up.

Not trying to be a doucher. But, did you double-double check antenna connection at the back of the radio? Sirius and GPS come in on the same antenna.

So after pulling the RA4 back out and putting in my RA1 back in the Sat radio still wouldn't pick up a signal. I used an aftermarket xm antenna and put it in the fakra connector on the back of the RA1. (little snug) and it picked up the preview channel as it should. Pulled it back out and put it in the RA4 and voila. Got xm and gps. So does anyone have the part number for the factory Sirius xm antenna?

Did you call to have the XM radio number in the settings changed to the new number on your new radio?? Costs like $30 for them to transfer service to another radio..... otherwise all that will work is the preview station

I'm not talking about the service bud. It's not getting signal. I just says searching for signal instead of playing the preview station.

Do you have the sharkfin or the puck antenna? Is it on the roof on the front of the truck above the drivers head or on the back of the cab. There are two cables that connect together before running to the antenna. Maybe that connection came undone. Depending on the truck it is in different locations.

I don't have the sharkfin, I have the puck on the back of the cab on the drivers side.
