Trupiano, thanks for the video
Saved me money and time and worked like a charm

Eraser wheel would be quicker but they want $40-$50 here in Toronto for them and I am not spending that to do a job 10-20 mins quicker.

Did it in 30 mins

Used fishing line - 8lbs (kept snapping, but that's what I had)
Your method for taking the sticky stuff off
'Goof Off' from Home Depot ($6) and the residue rubbed off like it was simple dirt
Goo gone did squat

Thanks again

No holes at all. Simply held but 3M or similar type adhesive.

Just realized you had a 3rd gen. I can only comment on a 4th gen. But I'm sure it is only held by adhesive

I'm on my phone right now but I debadged my old 2006 white ram. I kept the hemi badge on but took off the rest. Ill get pics later. Looks good though.

if wax isn't doing it, you'll need something more aggressive, like rubbing compound - should be able to do that by hand.

Can't find an eraser wheel anywhere here. How much did you guys that have them pay for yours? Thinking about just buying adhesive remover since it'll be the only time I take my badges off

Didn't use this method on debadging the truck but it came in real handy when removing the velcro strips on the new bed I bought that had a bedrug in it!

If you have too much adhesive left on to take off with simple wd40, go to your local auto zone or pep boys and buy a clay bar (I got mother's brand) and then hit the extra residue with that then hit it with a rag soaked in wd40. It'll still take some elbow grease but it took it off for me.

Oh and also I made the mistake of heating up the emblems at first, which I found was the cause of the extra adhesive left on the sides of my truck

Grab 'GOOF OFF' from Home Depot! This requires NO elbow grease at all. Simply rub back and forth till its gone. It rubs off with almost little to no pressure

Or use the eraser wheel
