250 is a good temp and I'd say at least 15 minutes. The first time I attempted it I was anxious about melting them so I only did 5-10 minutes and it was difficult. When I did it for 15 it was much easier and you could probably go a little bit longer if you wanted.

I went 250 for 15 minutes and then tried. If they dont come apart easily, put back in for 5 more and try again. If still not apart, try another 5. They will come apart. On cleaning the old sealant out of the channel, DO NOT TRY IT WITH THEM COLD! It is a HUGE pain in the ass and comes out in pieces. Instead, put the housing in at the same 250 for 5 minutes. Pull them out and, using a small narrow flat screwdriver, start working around the sealant. If it doesnt budge, go back in for 5 more minutes. Once you get the magic temp, it will pry out in a solid piece as long as the temp is right. When it gets hard to come off again, then back in for a few minutes and work at it again. I only had maybe 1-2 minutes to work them when out of the oven before it started "sticking" again. Back in the oven for a few minutes and work them again for 1-2 minutes. Sounds dificult, but very easy and the look is well worth it! Good luck!

Cool! Be warned, people who do this mod on street trucks have reported the headlight inards not being able to handle the weight of the Dually and cracking / failing.

I noticed that the dually pod is pretty heavy compared to the headlight plastic. I'm going to try and figure out a way to cement it in there enough so that the weight is somewhat evenly displaced. Any recommendations ?

What about something underneath? Like add some kind of support underneath the bezel.
