Glad I was able to help some of the folks with 2014 Rams too.

It's such a simple thing, but it's a big deal. Was at the cabin driving sand roads and not listening to that damn ding was so nice

Anyone with a 2014 pushbutton start tried this? Gonna give it a whirl tomorrow.

Works on the driver's side of my 2014 with the push button start. All I had to do was push the start button twice for RUN without putting my foot on the brake to actually start it. Did the seat belt stuff, hit the button again to turn everything off and that was it. No more annoying chime! Thanks for the info.

Looks like this worked for both driver and passenger side in my 14 Express Black Edition. Thanks again, will be a big help when surf fishing.

Worked like a charm! :waytogo:

Ps...she's a 2013 Laramie Longhorn with the Rambox - I love it

Going to do this to my 14 tonight. I did it to my 07 and didn't think the process would stay the same but happy to see it has. I hate that chime. I always wear my seatbelt on the road, always, but I have a very long driveway and like to take it off when I first pull in. Plus driving around the farm and such.

If you don't like wearing the seatbelt for some reason, why not just jumper the connector under the seat that goes to the buckle? It will think it is always buckled. You won't get the chime or the light.

A dealer I took mine to disabled it via the computer and controls. Still get warning flash on screen though.

This is the same process for turning off the chimes in my 2013 Ford Focus as well.
I wonder if they bought their seatbelt system from the same vendor?
