I am doing the upgrade from the basic instrument cluster with the 3.5 inch EVIC to the premium cluster with the 7 inch EVIC. I am also doing the conversion from a ra2 5.0'' touchscreen to the ra3 8.4'' touchscreen. Is a dealer flash needed for either one of these upgrades???

No you shouldn't need flash. Just parts. I have done both

No flash needed. You will have to get the mileage change on your instrument cluster it has a chip in it that keeps the miles. Contact TVandNav2Go and he can change it for you to match your mileage

Your only need for a dealer will be to get an unlock code for the radio when you've installed it. Take the serial number to the parts counter before you install and they can look up the correct code for you.

That's what I did, easier to pay 20 dollars then for me to go up to the dealer etc. I am told all 8.4's when you change vehicles need the code.

My dealer wrote all my info down, I think he is making something for the door sill as well as noting in computer as my new one had zero miles.
