LED interior lights

Anyone know exactly which lights in the interior HAVE to be canbus LED lights? Or which trucks/ styles have the canbus system? Or if you can have both through out? I talked with the tech guy at superbrightleds and he said easiest way to tell if your truck has a canbus sustem is unplug the light, start the truck with the light on and see if you get an error. I did that with the dome and the little push button map light bulbs out (door open) and I didnt get an error. I called the dealer service dept to ask but I might as well asked a quantum physics question as much good as it did me. You would think that they could tell you. I figure lights like the tails, reverse, and headlights would have to be canbus. The tech guy at SBleds said he wouldnt run a canbus light in a non canbus application. Anyone like to weigh in? I have searched through post after post but I never did find a for sure answer....

All my lights are canbus in mine, no problems with them.

got my leds in from superbright today...map and cargo non canbus working fine...maplights had a small amount of flicker when they dim and the cargo I had to twist a bit in its cradle before it came on, but other than that they are doing good. No error messages on EVIC

maps: WLED-xHP5 (194 LED Bulb - 5 SMD LED Wide Angle Wedge Base)
dome: 4410-x9 (578 9 LED festoon)

Map Lights

Just a quick question. How the heck do you remove the original map lights?
I have tried and tried and then I tried the rubber band method and no go.

I used a small zip tie on the bulb tightened it and a good pull

Wrap a piece of tape around it and leave a little tail where the two ends of tape come together and pull on that.

I bought this kit from Amazon as well. But I am getting the flickering from the map lights and license plate lights. Drives me nuts. Where can I get the Canbus led's for these locations?

Yes, all the bulbs were the same except for the rear dome.

Ok that’s what I thought . I want to order from super bright led and I want to make sure I order right . I want to do all the interior and the reverse and license plate bulbs .

Ok if I’m correct the reverse are 921
The dome is 4410
The license plate is 194 and the map lights and under the dash at the feet are Also 194 . Is this correct.

Found this sticky info in the DIY section:

4th Gen LEDs
Reverse - 921
Cargo Lights/Top mount break light - 921
Map lights - 921
Dome light - 4410
License plate - 194
Tail lights / Brake lights- 3157
Front turn signal / Side marker - 3157

Thanks everyone let's recap: I got a 2016 RAM 2500 HEMI 6.4:
*Dome light 4410 (canbus or non canbus?)
*map lights 921- same question canbus or not?
*under dash also 921
is this correct? if yes then I just need to know canbus or not?

I've been trying to find an answer to that question. I have a 2017 quadcab st, changed out my interior lights maps/dome, cargo, reverse and plates. No flickering but did notice once in a while my interior lights don't come on when I unlock/open the door all the time. Is the 09-18 suppose to have canbus LEDs?

BTW only had the truck for 2 weeks, still learning dodge from gm

From what I've read, the 09-12 don't have the same issues with interior LEDs as the 13-18. I swapped mine out with cheap Amazon LEDs with no issues.
