I have a 2015 ram 5.7 hemi, and the rear view mirror has uconnect but not auto dimming. I was wondering if i could just buy an auto dim with uconnect and put it in plug and play or do i need a new wiring harness for it?

The harness is the same but the auto dim will not function unless you have the correct sales code added. I belive it's GN5. This code may not be available for your truck depending on what trim level you have. If you are able to add the code you would need to have the correct RA3 or RA4 radio to able to turn it on and off. They also make an auto dim mirror for the RA1 base radio but I'm not sure if it would work either on your truck without the correct sales code.
