I really have not found a use other than it looks cool. and im the first to do it on a 4th gen.

Im at about 8.3MPG but i also have 35's 10 inches of lift and 3.55 gears

the hard part would be finding a basket small enough to fit and look right. it would be like a 50x25 basket.

I still need to get some more stuff to put up there. i havent figured out how the hell im going to lift my spare up there.

Divi, do you have any pics of the wiring on the inside like running through a pillars and dropping the ceiling cover. Sweet mod. What is a hi lift?

Hilift is a jack/recocery tool. I do not have any pics but its easy. Drill a hole in the roof put a gromet and rtv that sucker. Run wiring to switches. Ill see if I have any pics and or take a few.

I have one thing I am going to have trouble convincing my wife and even my self to do is drilling a hole in the roof I am thinking maybe running wiring inside rain gutter

Thanks guys, truck is gone though. it is on a dealer lot, they have 4 people interested in it. one is trying to get financing.

I never really understood the reason for any type of roof rack on a truck. I mean... it's a truck, it has a bed. But I have to say that looks freakin sweet!!
