Ok. Got the job done... forgot the washer on one and had to take it all the way back apart just for that dang washer.... also managed to strip the sway bar link... is the factory one decent and reliable or should I look into aftermarket?

Great ! Post up some pics !

On the anti-sway bar link , I'm still on my OEM one so I guess they are fine .
Maybe someone will chime in that has aftermarket ones .

I've got the mevotech stabilizer links. They are definitely a little heavier and thicker. Plus!!! Plus they are greasable... yes. Greasable

Did you sand before painting? Thinking of using VHT caliper paint in red but don't know how well it works without baking or if I need to sand.

Yes , clean well with laquer thinner , lightly sand with a medium scotch brite pad , clean again then paint 2-3 coats . I set mine in the sun for a couple hrs for drying. , Do Not bake as the elastomeric bearings are rubber and too high of a temp would aid in debonding the elastomer IMO.

Thanks, planned on taping and sanding. I was thinking maybe heat gun but definitely wasn't going to bake due to the rubber gaskets

Thanks buddy , I'm still liking your Fox shocks with the external reservoirs!
When I install my 6" lift I may do the Fox set up then ,but I'll probably wait till I need new shocks because in very happy with my bilsteins for now .
Like you though Sir , if I end up with any Rake at all with the 5" rear coils I'll install the taller Fox shocks immediately ! Lol I can't stand Rake ....

Look what I'm installing right now !
It's the RED Billet under the hood dress up kit I got off " Pull Ya " a member here .
