What all does it come with? If its a light with two wires tap it into an accessory wire to get power when you turn the truck on or power it to the headlight switch so it'll come on when you turn the headlights on.

It just has the light with no wires. Do I need to order the wires? This is what I have 4608669AB

Not sure what the unit looks like, but you will need wires.

You will need to wire the light to something that comes on with the headlights. you should be able to find one of the dash accessory wires to do this.

When you say you have the light, do you mean just the bulb?

If it is just the bulb, you will need some kind of light socket.

Or is it a twist lock lamp that gets its power from a printed circuit board.

Alright man this was very simple. It took me longer to remove the bezel than it did to mount and wire it up. Here goes, remove radio bezel and you will have a few plugs that are in the spare cutouts. The small black wire harness is what you need its on the far left. Next look inside of the center bezel area and you will see a cutout for the light. Insert the light, plug in the harness and your done. Its not very bright at all in the daytime so i assume it wont be a distraction at night. Heres the pics.

So I pulled the bezel today and of course I don't have the wire harness for the light so I guess ill have to find a scrapped gen 3 and cut it out and transplant it into mine.

That sucks did you look in behind that panel bc it may have fallen back in there or not even pulled theough. I will be honest with you it may be easier and better if you did something led aftermarket unless you're set on that light bc its not very bright at all. I just did it bc you brought it up and it was only 10 bucks. There is a DIY on here for that using a couple leds and running them to power and ground. But of course a power source that has 12v when you turn your lights on only.

I appreciate your help bud. My dad has the light in his 07 so I know it's not the best however I'm trying to keep the truck as close to factory as possible in the interior. Idk it may sound dumb but that's just how I like my vehicles. But thanks again for all the help.
