I know we all know how to wash out trucks.

If you live in an area with very hard water, you know all about the nuisance of water spots! This video has a few tips for dealing with hard water.

George, you know......there is a MUCH easier way to not get water spots. Just don't use water! :D I haven't used a single drop of water on my truck to clean it.

Dude... we get HEAVY pollen here. That stuff would turn into a yellow goo almost instantly.

Its all good man. This spring (with v1) I used my California duster first on it - just to knock most of that **** off first.

Pollen is some annoying ****, thats for sure. :killer:

The oak pollen has a real hard spore that can go with it and it's easy to leave micro scratches in the paint. I always follow the initial rinse with a very thick soap and water combo. Then I rinse it all off and rewash with a normal mix of soap and water.

I am going to use the fukken sytem in the winter when its just to cold to do a full wash routine (and there is no pollen to deal with).

I like that filter setup. Looks like I will be off to home depot to fab one up but I am willing to bet it will probably cost about twice as much up here **** sakes.

Great video.

I'll look into making me one of those. btw your paint job looks like new.

I do have a question--do you know how to get rid of hard water spots on windows?

A claybar does wonders for waterspots. If they're etched in, your pretty much out of luck.

It would be worth every cent at three times the cost. My hard water was rediculous for spotting before the filter.

As mentioned, try claybar. Or detail spray with the finest steel wool you can find. Or LimeAway (or something similar)
