This is a simple fluid dump and filter change.

I hope this helps anyone who may be a little leery of trying this themself.

I bought mopar filters from Henson Motorsports. I've heard too many horror stories about aftermarket filters. Especially the big flat one.

great video. very well done. if there is one thing i would add. it would be to be VERY careful when replacing the pan bolts, and only torque them down to the required tq. which is something like 8 ft/lbs or so.

and as im sure you already know. having a drain plug makes this process SOOOO much easier. on my old pan, i just had the $5 autozone plug, used washers, and RTV. worked great.

It still required taking a drill to the pan........Thats sacreligeous in some states!

I did weld in a plug while I had the pan out. I don't know why anyone would go thru the trouble of a pan drop and not add a plug. They should have come that way from the factory.
