I've been looking but I can't seem to find any good DIY turbo cleaning kits or videos. Does anyone know a thing or two about turbos and a good effective way to cleaning them?

Not just spraying them with turbo cleaner but taking them apart and getting a good scrub going. Anything helps guys. And once I get ready to do it to mine I can post pics and steps.

Just don't wanna jump into it before I 100% understand what I'm doing.

Is yours causing issues?

My wife's engine blew and her turbo is super dirty. I would like to take the turbo a part, inspect it, and clean it but I don't know much about them. Anything helps really.

Turbos are awfully precise things. I personally wouldn't take it apart. I'd remove it and clean what I could without taking it apart. Maybe look up if you can soak it in parts cleaner.

Appreciate it. Would you recommend any other cleaners? Or personal experiences?

No personal experience. Maybe the guys in the Cummins section would know. Carburetor cleaner works great for throttle bodies, not sure for turbos tho.
