well, if im mistaken then somebody will yell at me lol, but don't think there's a diy on here for the efan mod yet so figured i'd contribute to this awesome forum and make one. just got the fan in the via UPS, went to advanced and picked up the controller. and of course now i have to go to work. hoping i can get this done saturday night when i get home and hopefully will have an assistant to snap lots of pretty pretty pictures. here are a couple of the fan and the controller

i'm going to george. hopefully i will have a friend come over to assist/man camera so i can get as many detailed pics as i can. it's the tarus fan. got it off ebay from gt recyclers. it was right around 100 shipped. it's in amazing condition, the pics don't do it justice. as clean as it is, and i know things can be cleaned up to look new, the motor looks brand new.

beginnings of a spanner wrench. two peices of mending plate, 5/16 bold with washers and lock nut to hold them together. got 1/4 bolds for the holes in the water pump pulley, but 5/16 fits much better, going to grab some at work tomorrow. started to cut one of the pieces of plate, but between my ****** frankenstein air tank not keeping the pressure high enough for the cutting tool. then my drill wasn't charge. then i broke the damn cut off wheel....... so it's still not cut. gonna get a new wheel tomorrow as well and finish cutting it off.

added washers to get the nuts lined up so it sits flush against the water pump pulley. it wobbled the other way and didn't want it to slip while under pressure.

ok, so thought of a couple things last night while i was reading the directions on the controller. were did you guys that have fans run the, "remote" wire basically? yellow wire that allows fan to work when truck is off bla bla bla. kinda thought the battery still had power when the ignition was off, but hey, what did yall do? and is the blue wire high or low power?

Mine is hooked up to the battery. The longest it has ever stayed on when the truck is off was 60sec
