err.. my truck is, I mean...

Yeah, I'm wanting to black out my RAM.

Does anybody have a 3rd gen that is black out? Mine has lots of chrome. It's gotta go.

If you got em would you post a picture or 100 for me? I'd like to see what it looks like.

Or, if there is already a thread point me that direction.

Thanx~

I plasti dipped my wheels and step bars. Tinted my tails and bought black headlights. My truck is silver so the chrome had to go as well. Plasti dip is the way to go especially if you dont care for the look you simply peel it off, but it lasts for years through anything, love the stuff.

wish i had black body color as i see a few "black express" new models on the road and those are some sweet looking trucks.

I also have a black vehicle with LOTS of chrome on it. I am currently getting rid of the chrome though, slowly but surely.
I de-badged quite a bit of it and the badges that are left on, I Plasti-Wrapped it (DupliColors versions of PlastiDip. I get it at work at Orielly's). I got the pinstrips off and the big Off Road 4x4 sticker gone. Next will be the grill and the rainguards. But while doing this, I am keeping in mind that I wanna do the Hulk themed truck. My wife brought up the fact that there is SEVERAL green hulk vehicles out there and I should go with the original color of the Hulk and go with the Hulk being grey instead of green. I like the idea and think it'll go well with the blacked out portion of the truck.
I'll post pics as the process goes on

But... not like my truck. So it's hard to compare what it would look like.

That is a real bad ass truck though.

Mt truck was a Thunder Road...Chrome bumpers,Grille, Fuel Dorr, Side Steps, etc.
I powdercoated my wheels/fuel door, sidesteps. Used vinyl wrap to cover the grille, and bumpers

Any thoughts on a white truck being blacked out, an extent at least? I think it'd look good with the contrast.

Oh the black Ram Express...Been trying to get into one for a few years now and doesn't work out for one reason or another. Dealer's end. Hate dealerships but whatever...

I have a silver Ram as well and am on the fence whether to go with the black accenting. I also think about painting the entire truck black and making my own 13 year old black edition. Ha ha! I just can't make up my mind...

Google silver dodge ram (images) and you'll find a bunch of silver/black trucks.

@schwarz - do you plan on removing that black molding down the side?
I have thought about it.

Thanx for the pic. Yeah, more would be cool too

No that pic was at their facility, they are 10 min from me. They were helping to resolve an issue.
