Satellite Radio Location

Hey guys, this is my first post here and I was looking for some info on where the satellite radio module was located or if it was integrated into the factory stereo. I have the RAQ model with 6 disk CD & satellite radio. I was wanting to do this mod, and it seemed like some Ram guys have done it, i just cant find the wires to cut into. ( I have a 2007 Ram 1500 SLT QC )

It's built into the head unit, unless you just feel very industrious and want to do all the splicing, I would recommend just getting a modulator.

Shoot, that's what I figured. I'd wanted to get a hardwired aux in, for better quality, but I was hoping I could do it for cheap real quick, since I need a hitch and brake controller soon too. Oh well, thanks for the welcome and the help!

You don't have the factory towing package? Not sure what you are hauling, but I would recommend the Tekonsha P3, I have it and it's amazing, so many features and it's plug and play.

In all honesty, if my radio wasn't the REC NAV head unit it would have already been gone and I would have gotten one with the features I want. I just won't settle for a head unit less that what I have now and it still works.

I've got a towing prep package.with the bumper hitch and wiring. So for towing a lifted Cherokee, I need something that I can put a drop on and that's rated for little more weight.

Are you talking about a drop receiver hitch that's adjustable in height or and actual frame mounted system? Are you saying that you only have the bumper holes for the hitch ball?
