Very good write up ill be doing this soon but What do you mean by the lock position? Just turned off or turned all the way back?

I just switched the position of the drivers and center pass. seatbelt recepticle and stretched the pass belt over and plugged it into the drivers side one, so it stays buckled and the light/chime never comes on. I still wear my seatbelt all the time, but I don't put it on until I'm off my dirt road and I always take it back off at the same place...so it's nice to not listen to the chime while I'm idling down my road.

I am a 1,000% believer in wearing a seat belt. I am here because I was wearing my seat belt, in the 70's when a truck pulled out in front of me, totaling my car.

No it doesn't. Just like those cigarette commercials don't do anything for smokers. It might influence their decision a tiny amount if anything. I hate ny. It's only about $. Just like the helmet laws for motorcycles. Now that's one thing I would want to wear. But I have been down twice and there is a huge difference. The point is they are slowly taking our rights away. If a guy doesn't want to wear a helmet or belt that Should be up to him. I know this post is old but I just saw it cause I went to turn chime off
