This is a pretty easy to do but I figured id post it up anyway just for people to look at. did it a few months ago.
Used a recon for my replacement.
Just undue the 2 screws, and the seals wont let it release, so get a flat head screwdriver or a butter knife and put a sheet or something over them and slowly/gently pry up around the edges till you can get it up. Might take a little muscle. If your really having a hard time you can resort to a heat gun.
simply connect the connectors, factory/replacement, wrap it with tape (optional)
my screws were rusty so I just gave em a brush and painted em black.
replace screws, done. easiest mod ever lol
