I could be wrong but it looks like the actual brake line. ????? Check your brake fluid level under the hood.

That is your brake line that goes from the frame to rear axle. Brake fluid is clear almost like water. You probably don't have any rear brakes, you might also have a burned out brake warning light in the dash.

The light works and it has brakes. I followed the line and it's plugged up at the body. It is a rubber hose that runs into the block for the brake lines

If you brakes still work, it is likely not a brake hose. Probably axle vent tube. Are you sure that it is number 7 in the pics? And that it doesn't actually go on top of number 8? That is where the vent goes, it is not in those pics

1 is a brake hose. 2 is the axle vent. Just tie it up where water won't get in.

Jwheeler found a good diagram for it.

Part 7 in the first diagram is a brake line. Part 8 is the axle breather that also has a rubber line attached.

If the tube you're talking about is for the axle breather, just zip tie it to the top of the frame rail or something where it wont get caught. If there was a lot of water coming from it (I mean more than a few drops or a quick stream) you'll want to consider removing the differential cover and replacing the differential oil.

Number 7 comes out of the axle thus must be the axle breather tube.
In any case there should be NO water inside!
You should check your axle gear oil!

Thank you very much! It was the differential breather. Boy there's alot of nastiness in there, a good quarter cup of water came from the pipe alone time.to clean her out and lube it back up
