Hi All!

I have a '97 Ram 1500 4x4.

My "check engine" light has been on for years. I removed the oxygen sensors and modified the exhaust (legal in PA).

I have electric tape taped over the light on my dashboard, but can still see it after dark.

Can someone please tell me an easy way to remove the bulb?

Thanks so much,

M Karns

Mines a 96 and has been upgraded.

Remove the ashtray and its holder.
Remove the cup holder.
If auto put the shifter in 1st.
If it has tilt, tilt the wheel down.
Remove the dash bezel by pulling carefully.
Remove instrument cluster to get to the bulbs.
