I am sure I am posting this in the wrong spot but need a answer soon. I take my truck in on Wednesday for a complete make over. I am really wanting to put 37s on but am very hesitate to because my gear setup. I don't want to blow something and end up having to dump more money it it. Yes I know a gear swap would be best that being said no one makes anything for the new 2014 1500 front diff.

Thoughts please!

Your truck will feel like a 6 cylinder when you put them on. Also, your speedo is going to so out of whack you will need a tuner to correct it. Don't do 37's with 3.21s

Just know what you are getting into if you opt for such large tires. Your rig will look bad ass but won't get out of it's own way. You will be trying to figure out how to change the gearing super fast. Those 3.21 gears are about the most popular gear ratio on the Rams and the only reason Ram has them for the Hemi is for MPG EPA crap.

Good luck with your 37s if you choose them (I would go 35's at the most)

I have been doing a bunch of research and as much as I want 37s I think I am just to stick with my original plan of 35s with just the 6 inch lift. Spend my extra money on maybe a light bar or two, new headlights, and or upgrade my alpine system. Thank you.

Don't them bigger tires on the 3.21 cause transmission problems too?

I wouldn't do 37's on 3.21's...

stay with 35's.

I have the zone 6" front / 3" rear kit with 35s and it sits perfect IMO

Thank you for the input. I went to the shop earlier today and finalized most everything, the one thing I haven't finalized is whether to do a light, or two lights bars, or no light bars.

I feel like there are bigger things to worry about than the trans with larger tires such as the axles, wheel bearings, cv axles if you have IFS. If you're nice to your trans how woukd tires hurt it?
