I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.7L. On my instrument cluster, the odometer numbers are either real dim at times or just go out completely. Everything else is lit up fine. Just seems like the left side where the odometer numbers and 4Wheel Drive lamp are those individual lights / numbers don't light up at times. Sometimes they come back after a period of time. Any ideas suggestions other than a loose wire? I haven't checked anything yet or opened up the dashboard. I just want to know what to look for before I take on this challenging task. Has anyone experienced this before and if so, what was the cause and fix. I would like recommended videos and or diagrams if available. I have checked on youtube, but it is very general and doesn't have anything pinpointing the issue I'm having.
