This thread is GOLD hahahaha.

As others have said, the pump has a filter on it. The frog will dissolve eventually and be absorbed by the fuel. I'd just keep the tank above 1/2 full and run it.

This happened to me once. A couple of good revs at a red light and I blew right out the exhaust.

I read on other forums that the 4th generation trucks have screens on them to prevent siphoning. This was a hotter topic back when gas was pushing $5 a gallon

I'm curious... after all the discussion, what did you end up doing?

So, OP - did you just gas up over him or what? Throw him one of those little umbrellas from a cocktail and hope for the best, or just read him his last rights and throw some 93 his way? :naughty:

Does anyone know if a 2014 Ram has a screen in the fuel filler neck to prevent siphoning? I was fueling my truck yesterday and a frog that was hiding behind my door fell down my fuel filler tube. It does not have the little trap door that prevents stuff from falling in so I assume there is a screen blocking access to the tank.

I'm sure by now the frog has croaked.
