Hi, I'm jake and yes I used the search function lol. I have an 06 laramie 5.7 I'm in the process of fixing up (new rims, little lift) I bought a 3" leveling kit for it and after reading all the stuff on forums I'm not so sure I want it now. My question is does anyone have a leveling kit that worked and they haven't had issues. Especially anyone with the 3" uploadfromtaptalk1406255119271.jpguploadfromtaptalk1406255137676.jpg ordered these today.

hey man nice truck
yea I have bilstein 5100 adjustable front shocks they are for leveling the front nose
you can do the option of leveling pucks but some people think the ride gets tuff and the shocks keep the same ride. With the shocks you can set them to lift your front nose anywhere from 1 inch to I believe 2.7 inches up maybe alittle more
after installing mine at 2.1 and driving them alittle they settled in place around 1.75 inch . which is good for me. just an idea for ya.

Hmm. Well maybe I should go that route. I don't care for ride quality that much but I don't want to break things using the 3" pucks I was told I'll have awful wobble and other issues. :/

I have heard of the wobble also. look into the shocks they compare those to the pucks and shocks make sense. pucks are probably alittle easier to do. but if u go to bilstein web page for 5100 adjustable shocks they will compare both options for you

its tuff iam sure those will work and the price is right but at 3 inches will it have wobble issue don't know ? they claim the shocks are a better set up. have you checked reviews?
also keep in mind you might want to get a front end alignment when your done with the level kit I needed one and if your putting those nice tires on there you want the truck running straight.

Anyone else have input on this. I don't want to send them back but I don't want wheel wobble.

Lift kit cheapest ive seen is 650+. Level kit get two bilsteins as said for about 250 shipped... maybe less. Then get an Alignment. Should be under 400 all said and done.
