how to disable the air bags (temporarly)

Hello rammers ,
Guys a i need a way to disable the air bags while i go off the road . Please if anyone knows how to.

I need a guide on how to (am aiming to make a button to turn on / off at will)

Any good idea about that ?

You cannot unless you have a reg cab with the disabling switch. If you intend to hack the harness, good luck with that...CAN bus vehicles are especially sensitive to that. You can remove them, at the very least it will throw codes, at worst the vehicle won't run.

do they have a fuse? we had an old Lincoln that you can get it at the height you want then pull the fuse. The back end of the Lincoln looked like a 4 in lift.
