I spend pretty much as much time as I can in my home garage. I've got my gym in there as well as all the essentials, hot and cold water, WiFi, cable, flat screen, surround sound. You know, the bare essentials. Haha. I don't do any work in this shop except on my motorcycles. I went As large as I could without my wife kicking me out. 24x40, scissor trusses, 12' center height and enough lights to blind a man.
Anyhow, here's my set up. Everyone else post pics of your happy place!
It's pretty dark in there, I think you need some more lighting...

Thank you guy's, I actually just started to finish the upstairs this weekend, I got about 1/2 done I am waiting on Chair rail/small drink shelf to be cut at my buddies mill. Once I get it done I'll snap some more pic's.
It is all wired up and heated and what not I just had OSB on the walls So now I am doing Shiplap boards that my buddy cut for me as the finish.

This is a repost pic. Garage is 24x37 giving me enough room to park the motorcycle, atv and lawn tractor along the back wall and still fit the CC mid box with plow and close the door.
In the two years I've had this place I re wired the entire garage, insulated, put plywood on all the walls and since this pic was taken. The lights you see hanging are now all wired in and screwed to the ceiling. Next summer is going to be a new garage door and finish the ceiling. Followed by insulating the ceiling and installing a wood stove. I also have a motorcycle lift, no mar tire changer and a balancer in there.

This is what one wall looked like. I ripped all the crap down and re did it.

Working on the ceiling. Still need to tear out the work bench and take that window out.

I gotta call BS!!!! Anybody that has a garage as clean as some of the ones pictured gotta be photo shopped. It ain't a real garage till you have to move your lawn mower, trip over the kids bike and move the Xmas decorations, just to get to your truck. Then the one four foot florescent light(with one bulb burned out)is hooked up to an extension cord into the house cause you don't have any electricity in the garage yet. YOU GUYS MAKE ME JEALOUS!

Heck yeah it's a sanctuary! The Ram, the wife's car, a smaller bench, and some tolls for basic stuff (brakes, oil changes, etc) all live in the attached garage. But the pole barn out back is where the magic happens! And it really is my sanctuary, keeps my sanity intact!
