Ok so my 2006 Ram 1500 5.7 HEMI will misfire on cylinder one but, only when it is cold and not all of the time maybe two or three times a week. After it has warmed up it will stop. I changed the plugs and and coil and there was no difference. The compression is good at 150psi. I'M thinking something with the MDS if I change the oil it will stop for a couple of weeks before it starts up again. One other thing is it will only do this during the winter months during the summer month nothing it runs great.
Dose anyone have any ideas of what it could be or how to fix this?

It shouldn't be the MDS, but what oil (weight) are you using? Have you checked the connector to the coil itself for any corrosion, etc?

Do you still have plug wires on the 06? Also possible injector

I did check the coil and swaped it out with another and have the same problem. I use full synthetic oil 5w20 and even tried 0w20 the problem got better when I switched to the 0w20. I also flushed the motor each time I changed the oil

I also thought about the injector I pulled it out and there was no corrosion or debris and was working fine
