Hi,

My RAM has the color "brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat".

I would like to use plastidip on the chrome bumper, chrom parts (grill and running board) and wheels.

Which plastidip should I take? Is the standard "black" a matte black or a glossy black?

As I don't think that I can match the brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat I am thinking on using a matte black for the plastidip on all chrome parts.

What do you think?

Mine is the same exact color as yours and a bighorn. I did have chrome bumpers, grill, rims, and handles... Got the bumpers and grill color matched . And had to emblems and handles and rims (not the rims shown) shadow chromed...c957846c51b84961dd52a3cefa98dfa4.jpg

Keep in mind it is tough to meet chrome . Any rocks or salt rocks that may hit it will chip the paint or plastidip causing u to have to do some touch ups . I ended up buying a new grill painted . But had to touch up bumpers here and there.

It's not an exact color match but it's looks close and I had them now for three months this winter and so far they appear to be pretty durable

I did plasti dip the ram emblems but they are flat black and it kind of bugs me. I hear there is a plsti dip glossifier but I haven't ever used it.

good luck
