Why can't you use the ones off of factory rims. Just asking this is my first truck with tire sensors

Them sensors ain't cheap but there's plenty of places online to get them. Tire rack, rock auto to name a couple.

OP, I don't get what you're saying, are you trying to save time from installing new ones once the factory ones quit working? If so, it's a 2016, those sensors are supposed to last around a 100k miles. If the wheels you bought are the same diameter of your stockers I'd just reuse them. My 08 Ram is nearing 8 years old with under 60 thousand miles and they're still working.
