At an idol my tranny temps will get up to around 180 degrees, normal driving is around 140 to 150. Wat can I do to stop the high temps at idol?

Install a thermostatically controlled auxillary fan, an aftermarket cooler or just don't worry about it since it's well within normal operating range.

Yea, everyone told me " that tranny will go out like all other dodge trannys" my dad had a 2cd gen and never replaced the tranny. It had 210k before he traded it.

It seems that "everyone" is clueless cnsidering you don't have the old 46RE that they're thinking of. You have the 545RFE in your truck which is nothing like the old one.

Exactly! I've argued till I was blue in the face and only the guys who drive dodge trucks know the others are wrong!
