I haven't seen a thread that specifically shows what people have done with vinyl wraps or plasti-dip. I'm considering doing my chrome bumpers but I wanted to see what others have been doing as well. Once I have mine done, I'll be sure to post pics. But in the mean time...Let's see what you guys have!

I belong to some GMC and Chevy Forums as well. There are a bunch of people that do them and you can find threads for them there if you want to look.

I'm not a big fan of chrome, so the first thing I did to my truck was plasti-dipped the front & back bumpers and also the grill & emblems flat black. Turned out good, been about 4 months now and so far it's held up good. Here's a before and after pic of front

What a difference Rampaige, that is how they should come factory.

Plasti dipped my rims, has held up for over a year. Don't do it on nerfs though.

I did plastidip on my grill and bedliner on my bumpers. Everything has held up well and I'm going on 3 months through the winter without problems

On my old truck, my 2006 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 Hemi I vinyl wrapped the "raised area" of the hood with Matte Black 3M Vinyl.

I also added a Matte Black 3M "R/T" Vinyl to the rear bedside.

I Plasti Dipped the front bumper middle "bar" section to match the red and black theme. Also Plasti Dipped the stock wheels. But then sold them and got some 20" ATX wheels.

Then on my 2012 Ram 1500 ST Reg Cab I got a set of 20" chrome clad wheels and Plasti Dipped them Matte Black. Came out really nice and smooth, even though I painted in 51° weather in the winter lol.

I have a center console I'm about to swap into my 12' and remove the jump seat. Just waiting on the radio bezel to arrive so I can vinyl wrap it to match the center console I have to go in. The console is wrapped in 3M Matte Black Vinyl.

Can't wait to wrap the radio bezel and get this thing installed... it's been under my bed in my room for weeks now lol.

I plastidipped my rims and my front bumper lip. Rims held up for a long time, only reason I removed is because when I added 35" tires the shop tore it up. From bumper lip has lasted almost a year, started to rip up. Now I do not remember how many coats I put on the lip but I was traveling long distances to work on some crappy roads.

Oh yea emblems are dipped and been perfect since beginning (1.5 years).

I'm currently in the process of having my truck wrapped with a rose gold gradient and glittery af. Will post pictures when it's done. I've also plastidipped but the way I need this done with glitter will not plastidip correctly

Sounds like it'll be badass. Curious if you don't mind saying, what did a whole truck wrap cost you?
