I did the thermostat in my 2.4 grand am.if you're familiar you understand how much happier I was to do the one in my ram.until I pulled the old one out. It was hollow.nothing but the rubber gasket and steel frame around the wax enclosure.except, no wax enclosure.... is there even a probability a thermostat could fall apart like that?? I wish I still had the picture... put a new one in she warms up fine, still no hot air though.doesn't over heat so why would anyone do that?
